Coming off a rookie SuperTwins season for the Royal Enfield and Johnny Lewis that had many highs in 2023 including a Mission Foods SuperTwins Challenge win over young superstar Dallas Daniels and multiple time champion Jared Mees. But everything changed in May at Ventura California when Johnny just made a pass into the top 5 when a crash left 12 riders just missing him laying on the track and the 18th rider hit Johnny head on. Luckily his Arai Helmet and NJK suit kept him safe enjoy to walk off the track on his own two feet. This was the moment the 2024 changed big time. Lewis, who is not only the rider but team manager had to make a quick plan to keep the MA X RE race bike on track the rest of the season. After a day of testing, Lewis and the team worked with Dalton to get him up to speed and that he did quickly, making a last lap, last turn pass for the MA X RE first Supertwins podium in the American Flat Track Series ever.
